Position: Acquisitions and Development

Reports To: Managing Partners of Trinity Capital

Responsibilities
- Participate in the evaluation of new acquisitions and development projects for the firm
- Maintain working knowledge of markets that Trinity Capital covers – supply and demand, development, competitors, etc.
- Prepare and present investment proformas, including multi-tier joint venture waterfalls, for all Trinity Capital projects both internally and to potential equity partners and lenders
- Responsible for structuring and negotiating debt and equity for all Trinity Capital projects – including reviewing and commenting on loan and joint venture documentation
- Lead due diligence and closing efforts for new investments of the firm
- Maintain relationships with investors on all projects acquired or developed by Trinity Capital
- Provide support to the asset management team and controller of Trinity Capital in preparing budgets, business plans, leasing decisions, loan draws, and other project execution tasks
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant real estate experience
- BA or BS; advanced degree considered
- Robust quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines. A high level of responsiveness is essential.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a variety of stake holders across numerous subjects, projects, and disciplines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Argus
