March 7, 2025 | John Knowles, Bisnow, Studio B WriterArtificial intelligence has become more prevalent in the workplace, with companies using it for everything from creating images to developing lines of code for apps. A study showed that 45% of job seekers are also using AI to write and enhance their resumes. While AI can help create a basic resume, the details that come from a human touch are what really stand out to hiring managers. Executive recruiting organization SelectLeaders helps commercial real estate candidates submit resumes through its revamped platform. It enables candidates to build their profiles, boosting their visibility and matching them with roles more suited to their skill set.The company has been taking a tech-savvy approach to AI and applicant tracking systems, which help streamline the recruitment and hiring process. SelectLeaders recently collaborated with The JobHelpers, a career services company that utilizes AI-enhanced solutions to craft keyword-rich resumes to get them more noticed by hiring managers. SelectLeaders Customer Success Manager Jermaine Frazier-Collins said the company immediately became drawn to The JobHelpers — not only for its attractive AI features, but also its customer-centric approach. “We were already interested in The JobHelpers and how they use AI to help candidates supplement their resumes,” he said. “Our goal is to better meet the expectations of potential job candidates who may not know about ATS or have time to do deep keyword research to help optimize their resumes.”SelectLeaders Product Director of Technology Ray Miranda, who helped kick off the partnership with The JobHelpers, added that the AI features are not just a resume enhancement tool but can help create a tailor-made profile for the candidate to use on other platforms.“Job candidates can take this customized resume and upload it on various hiring sites to reach a wider audience, increasing their chances of getting hired by the right company,” he said. JobHelpers also offers a skill-highlighting component, helping applicants save time by providing them with a more targeted approach to finding the right job position, Frazier-Collins said. “The JobHelpers’ JobProMax AI platform can look at a resume and cross-reference it to a job posting,” he said. “It's a crucial factor in giving candidates clear direction to better align their skills with a specific role.” The Job Helpers Beginner package offers a five-day service from onboarding until you receive the keyword optimized resume and LinkedIn profile content. This includes a discovery interview with a job search expert, during which you share your career story, job experience and expectations. During this process, they will also review job postings, requirements and qualifications to identify ATS keywords that 93.7% of employers look for in candidate resumes. The beginner package includes:A keyword-optimized one-page resume, guaranteeing 4 interviews for every 10 jobs you apply.LinkedIn content optimized for recruiter search.Interview guide with 25 questions to help you excel in your interviews.JobProMax subscription, which includes a one-month trial access to a job board featuring half a million job listings.Once you receive your documents, we will conduct a follow up session to monitor progress. The Job Helpers Founder and President, Chui Senanayake, MBA, stated the platform also offers coaching services, interview strategies, and job application assistance, all of which have seen tremendous success over the past decade. "The Job Helpers has written 100,000 resumes in its 10 years of business and guarantees 4 interviews out of 10 submissions," he said. "We’ve seen 97% of job seekers land a job offer within 45 to 55 days of using our services."Frazier-Collins said it has integrated some of the elements of the five-day program to help candidates expedite the job-hunting process while also finding qualified resumes. Its candidates are now more confident knowing they have a course of action to build a competitive resume that can even the playing field, especially in such a challenging CRE market, he said. He added that although AI does a great deal to help new candidates with job hunting, it requires careful editing because it's not 100% accurate and it still needs the authenticity that could only come from the human experience. “From creating a more natural sounding resume to writing content that’s unique to the applicant’s skills and background, we can help candidates make more headway in a sea of identical looking AI-generated profiles that would be passed over in the recruitment process,” he said. Miranda said that this partnership will help SelectLeaders provide better resources to clients looking to further their careers, something which the company will continue to expand upon in the future as the platform integrates more AI components. “With our platform and The JobHelpers’ cutting-edge resume services, we're able to provide candidates with quality tools to help them with job hunting,” he said. “We want to utilize AI to create a foundation for our candidates to not only get the ball rolling in their career search but also have a better shot of landing their dream CRE role.”
