Job Overview
As a Commercial Development manager, you will be responsible for commercial real estate development and portfolio management. You can be on the front end of the growth and development of the third largest Airport in the world all while honing your leadership skills.
What you will be doing:
· Provides the business strategy and business management for the Airport’s and PFIC’s commercial development opportunities. (PFIC is the Airport’s investment management entity for acquisition and development of revenue-producing buildings and facilities)
· Provides financial management support in matters pertaining to hotel operations, land development and construction functions.
· Develops and maintains revenue and expenditure controls in accordance with the Commercial Development Department’s requirements, objectives, and procedures.
· Assists in the development of the department’s long-range forecasts and strategic business planning projects.
· Analyzes, manages and negotiates contracts, easements, temporary use agreements, licenses and leases, and supports marketing efforts and the negotiations and documentation of new leases.
What you need:
· Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, hotel management, finance, investment, public administration, or related field.
- Six (6) years of experience in real estate, finance, investment, appraisals or title closing work, including considerable public contact.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
- Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
What We Desire:

Commercial Mixed-Use real estate development, investment and management
experience
- Master’s Degree
- Three (3) years of lead or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations relating to real estate appraisals, titles, and the acquisition of land through eminent domain.
- Knowledge of hotel industry operations, financing, and marketing practices.
- Knowledge of standard real estate, appraisal, and title documents and their legal usage.
