Job Description
The Asset Management Associate will be involved with all facets of asset management operations and be responsible for portfolio reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The position will serve as support to the Asset Management team and be a liaison between the asset management group and the development, property management, leasing, legal, and accounting groups. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Provide integral support to the Asset Management team through data collection, modelling, analysis, annual business plan and budget preparations
- Financial modeling in Excel including cash flow, scenario/sensitivity, hold/sell, and lease analysis
- Use ARGUS to maintain forecasted cash flows
- Prepare lease analyses for the team
- Analyze and assemble quarterly analyses of property performance for Investor Relations team
- Assist with transactions by analyzing and modeling loan scenarios
- Help prepare all materials for annual investor conferences and quarterly investor calls
- Preparation, maintenance, and ownership of monthly and quarterly portfolio reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2-3 years experience in the Real Estate industry required
- Superior proficiency in Excel with the ability to build models, improve existing models, and have a strong proficiency with all functions
- Motivated and detailed self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to succeed in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Proficient with ARGUS and all Microsoft office programs
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with various departments within the company
