JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Urban Pace, part of The Long & Foster Companies, a division of Berkshire Hathaway, provides Residential Development Services - marketing, sales, leasing and advisory services to real estate developers. Founded in 2001, our team is the experienced authority having worked on more than 250 communities from large master planned sites to urban boutique buildings. We specialize in condominiums, townhomes, apartments and new construction sites across all price points. Headquartered in Washington, DC, Urban Pace expanded into Philadelphia in 2016 when it oversaw the successful sales and marketing of Southwark on Reed. Drafting off the success of the largest new townhome project to deliver in Philadelphia in the past decade, Urban Pace plans to expand their presence in the region and is currently working on two large-scale new construction townhome projects in Philadelphia. Urban Pace is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead their growing operations in the Philadelphia Region, track market trends, support existing clients and to assist Urban Pace Executive Team with executing client services and new business pursuits.
JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and secure new development opportunities for Urban Pace growth within the Philadelphia marketplace
- Attend business development meetings and industry networking events with current and potential clients
- Gather, analyze, interpret, and present local market real estate trends and information for business development opportunities, client support, and internal analysis
- Work with Urban Pace’s research team to compile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summaries, etc. for internal (brokers, sales managers, marketing) and external (banks, developers, investors, press) clients
- Track market statistics, generate market summaries and/or collateral material based on the data analysis conducted
- Interface with internal and external research resources to produce standardized quarterly market reports and customized client research reports with written analysis explaining statistics and market activity
- Maintain internal proprietary real estate databases (CRM, Excel, UPVelocity) ensuring accurate and update to client, prospect and project information
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for all projects based in the Philadelphia Region for the flawless execution
- Identify, train and manage new home sales agents
- Oversee sales and marketing strategy for Urban Pace new home communities in the Philadelphia Region
- Bachelor's Degree; Industry related field of study preferred
- 10+ years of real estate experience, preferably new construction, related business experience or any similar combination of education and experience
- Experience in project management and understanding of Philadelphia real estate market
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Experience with Trend and/or other regional real estate listing services preferred
- Strong data software applications skills
- Must possess strong collaboration skills, be able to work under direct supervision as a team member, as well as be able to work independently.
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
