Director of Finance and Operations

Emerald Growth Partners is a high growth, seed to sale, medical cannabis company in the Michigan and Massachusetts market. The company is actively completing multiple large scale cultivation facilities and plans to have 12 retail locations online within the next 18 months. We are currently seeking a VP of Finance and Operations to join our Boston location!

The ideal candidate is a recent Business school graduate with 4 to 5 years of professional experience in a financial or management consulting role. We are looking for a driven individual that will work hard in order to obtain results in a fast moving, competitive landscape. This job will be a mixture of analytical desk work but also actively engaging target companies and municipalities in which EGP seeks to do business.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
• Analytical Mind but ability to “Pound the pavement” and drive future business growth
• Determine financial status and analyze forecast results 
• Manage process of building out locations - interact with all parties in the build process. 

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Excel and financial modelling in order to forecast earnings and cash flow of future locations.
• Keynote and PowerPoint experience in order to develop investor and municipal presentations.
• Real Estate Knowledge - Ability to analyze real estate transactions and also negotiate and review the affiliated contracts involved
• Knowledge of construction management and experience in real estate development.
