We are seeking a Project Manager, Interior Design who will assist Construction and Development in ensuring the efficient execution of projects by successful management of multiple design projects and assisting in oversight of design consultants.

What you’ll do
- Oversee everything related to Interior specifications on a National Level and assist project teams throughout the project on all interior design related items.
- Coordinate Interior Design with other consultants during design process and participate in relevant design meetings to be fully aware of all aspects of the project design
- Assist Construction and Development in ensuring the efficient execution of projects by successful management of multiple design projects and assisting in oversight of design consultants
- Prepare interior design RFPs, scopes, schedules, and design intents
- Review Design drawings and specification for interior projects and ensure proper coordination.
- Assist Development team in setting up budget targets for consultants finishes and FF&E.
- Manages consultants, sub-contractors and vendors during project until completion which includes reviewing interior design submittals and RFI’s in all design and construction phases to ensure adherence to brand and schedule and budgetary requirements
- Manage procurement consultant to ensure budget, schedule, and design intent.
- Coordinates with all in-house expertise on operational and marketing team requirements.
- Develop and maintain National Unit Finish standards across all projects.
- Assist Development on project unit interior and corridor finishes to maintain level of consistency.
- Assist construction with the interior mock-up and unit finish contracts.
- Work with Development and Marketing on renderings and marketing deliverables
- Assist the Purchasing department as well as negotiate direct sourcing opportunities and National contracts.
- Researches new trends within the multifamily industry and other competitive brands to increase knowledge of interior design and current technological advances
- Organize product room and project unit finish boards.
- Assists in creating interior design standards and design process, file creation and maintenance.
- Maintain unit library for all past projects and those in design.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Must be willing and able to travel
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 3 years of previous interior design, architectural or project management experience needed
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture required
- CIDA accreditation and/or ASID Certification required
- Experience in residential multi-family or hospitality industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Revit experience
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
- Ability to effectively communicate creative concepts, invention and ideas with staff and management
- Highly organized, extreme attention to detail while multi-tasking
- Strong space planning skills
- Basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously with various time lines
- Excellent communications, delegation, follow-up and analytical skills
