Eagle Rock Advisors is the private equity arm/investment manager of Eagle Rock responsible for the acquisitions, asset management and investor relations functions of the business. Eagle Rock Advisors is headquartered in New York, NY.
The Role
The Acquisitions Analyst/Senior Analyst will support the Investments team during all parts of the investment process - market analysis, detailed underwriting, due diligence, financing and close.
Specific areas of responsibilities include:
• Market Analysis & Research – run rent and sales comparables, bifurcate the market, operating cost analysis
• Financial Modeling / Cash Flow Analysis – perform detailed financial model incorporating direct cap method, sales comp analysis, cash flow analysis, debt scenarios
• Prepare investment committee presentation and documentation including model, financial metrics, comprehensive write-up
• Assistance in evaluating deal structures
• Due diligence activities – assist in all aspects of due diligence and manage due diligence process
• Financing / debt activities – provide support during the process of evaluating debt alternatives
• Physically inspect properties as needed

Ideal Candidate
Qualified candidates will have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance or related field; and one – three years of relevant investment banking, acquisitions, or brokerage experience expressly geared towards multifamily.
• Driven, resourceful and has a thirst to underwrite multifamily properties to identify value
• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and personalities also work autonomously
• In-depth understanding of financial modeling and analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and IC memo development
• Exceptional organizational, collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work within tight timeframe’s and meet strict deadlines
