Job Description
We are currently seeking a Vice President to lead the JLL Capital Markets Analyst Pool. This role will be based in Los Angeles, CA. The Capital Markets Analyst Pool provides investment brokerage, advisory and investment banking services to institutions, public companies, fund managers, financial institutions and property developers. This individual will be the regional market player/coach leader for the national platform.
The Analyst Pool platform is an internal group dedicated to the management, advancement, best practices, and standardization of JLL financial analysts and their corresponding analytical output in support of all types of Capital Markets and Brokerage transactions.
Responsibilities
- Regional leader and manager of all analytical support in the designated market. Planning and directing the work of a group of individuals, monitoring their work, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Accomplishes objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Ability to perform complex financial analyses, including cash flow projections with complex financing structures, ARGUS AE valuation models, and sensitivity analyses
- Create sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models
- Overview the due diligence and closing process for complex financing transactions
- Assist with preparation of client deliverables and presentations which influence and provide impact for the client
- Organize historical client contact/activity
- Point of contact for tracking, management, reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Real Estate with excellent academic credentials
- ARGUS valuations, financial analysis and market research experience is required
- 3+ years of work experience in Finance or Real Estate with proficiency in commercial real estate analysis
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills; proven experience as a business manager or relevant role
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
- Outstanding computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
- Self-motivating individual who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team under deadlines
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
