POSITION SUMMARY

The successful Staff Accountant will manage the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, create and post journal entries, complete monthly bank and loan statement reconciliations and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.  This individual will also have responsibility for making debt service payments and for billing and tracking the receipt of asset management fee income.  In addition, the successful candidate will work on research and analysis for the in-house acquisition and asset management specialists. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years experience in all phases of commercial property accounting
• 2 year degree in accounting
• Excellent QuickBooks and MS Office computer skills
• Self starter with strong project management, multi-tasking and follow-through skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong financial analysis abilities and attention to detail
