Opportunity:
Oxford is seeking an Analyst to join its Investments team in New York. The junior analyst will be responsible for conducting a wide range of real estate financial analysis, with an emphasis on new investment opportunities and existing asset management across equity and credit investments. Primary responsibilities include creating and analyzing detailed financial underwriting models, performing due diligence on potential investment opportunities, conducting market research and analysis, and managing existing assets.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
- Underwriting real estate investment opportunities (acquisitions/dispositions/credit investments) in both asset and corporate level structures including, performing asset and market due diligence;
- Creating complex, customized financial models for each investment opportunity;
- Performing in-depth market research to support and validate investment ideas under consideration;
- Assisting in the valuation of Oxford’s existing portfolio as well as providing asset management related analysis and commentary on an as needed basis;
- Performing extensive due diligence and assist in all aspects of deal execution;
- Preparing presentation materials, including investment committee memos; and
- Insightfully discussing and interpreting results, identifying key investment considerations and risks.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of previous experience in a real estate banking, investing or advisory role;
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline including Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Engineering;
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling), PowerPoint and Word, with knowledge of ARGUS DCF and ARGUS Enterprise considered an asset;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to evaluate complex data and present solutions in a clear, concise manner;
- Self-motivated individual with a superior work ethic and an extremely high level of attention to detail;
- Embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment;
- Must be driven to achieve results and continuously striving to deliver the highest performance through creative thinking;
- Self-starting personality that can work well with limited direction and within tight deadlines;
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills; and
- Unquestioned integrity.
