For more information, please visit www.rxrrealty.com. Position Description: RXR Realty seeks an Analyst to join its Capital Markets department. The Analyst will assist in all aspects of capital markets activities including fund administration and forecasting, capital raising efforts, as well as the formation of capital structures for commercial real estate transactions and related documentation. The individual will engage in key activities that support senior management, including:
- Create and maintain sophisticated financial models and analysis.
- Support the formation of capital structures for commercial real estate transactions and the related documentation effort; requires familiarity with fund partnership agreements, joint venture agreements and loan agreements, as well as complex capital structures, financial concepts such as carried interest, preferred interests, etc.
- Assist with annual budget and quarterly reforecast preparations.
- Prepare marketing materials, compile presentation materials, market analysis and preparation of remarks for the firm’s products to be utilized by senior management during investor meetings and tours; collaborate across company disciplines to gather information, update existing materials, create analyses from source materials when necessary, and compile comprehensive and persuasive presentations.
- Coordinate and monitor investors’ due diligence process; fulfillment of investor diligence requests; drafting of responses to diligence questionnaires.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis requests.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in real estate finance, investment banking or fund management (or 1+ years with advanced degree)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting or related field; Advanced degree a plus
- Significant experience utilizing Excel for financial modeling
- Understanding of real estate finance and capital structures
- Must have exceptional quantitative skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in other Microsoft applications including PowerPoint and Word
- The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, self-directed, proactive and inquisitive
- Ability to work under pressure and a willingness to work overtime as required
