- Serving as the primary point of contact between CEDG (Cohen-Esrey Development Group) and investor and lender asset managers from property lease-up through the 15-year compliance period.
- Serving as primary point of contact between CEDG and CEC (Cohen-Esrey Communities) for property on-boarding activities including coordinating construction completion punch lists, initial marketing efforts, property decorating and furnishings, and lease-up reporting.
- Tracking deadlines associated with various operating agreement requirements.
- Providing documentation to investors and lenders required to obtain equity installments and permanent loan conversion.
- Reviewing property financial statements and making recommendations on how to improve financial performance.
- Working with property management and other stakeholders on the preparation and approval of annual property budgets and regular asset review meetings.
- Assisting the development team in the creation of accurate operating pro formas using CEC portfolio analysis and market research.
- Identifying specific populations to be served on each property.
- Identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with resident referral and service providers in each market we serve, creating feedback loops to track effectiveness.
- Assisting the Director of Design and Construction in the creation and maintenance of CE Design Standards and provide ongoing feedback over the 15-year compliance period on outcomes.
- Researching and making recommendations to the MD for new populations to be served and related funding sources.
- 4 year degree or (6+ years) commensurate experience, with a majority of time fulfilling a Regional Manager multi-site position.
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to travel extensively to both local and nationwide locations, as necessary.
- CAM, CAPS, or CPM Certification.
- 4 year degree or (6+ years) commensurate experience, fulfilling a Property Manager position.
- 4 + years of Affordable Housing and/or Section 8 experience.
