POSITION:
Based in Atlanta, GA, the Asset Management Analyst will be part of a dynamic and growing business environment. The position will report directly to the EVP of Asset Management located in Atlanta, GA and will provide analytical support along with asset management functions to manage the existing Stonemont portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create, maintain, and update financial pro-forma Excel & ARGUS models for individual assets and portfolios.
• Evaluate property-level investment performance;
• Assist in the development of annual operating budgets, business plans, and reforecasts;
• Assist asset managers in the disposition process;
• Gather and evaluate economic and market data;
• Analyze potential leases and their financial impact on an investment;
• Assist asset managers throughout the life cycle of the leasing process;
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports;
• Perform portfolio sensitivities on property acquisition/disposition opportunities;
• Develop a working knowledge of leases, loan documents, partnership agreements, development agreements and other real estate investment related documents
• Assist asset managers in review of monthly financial packages and construction draws
• Assist asset managers in the quarterly business plan process
REQUIREMENTS:
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Real Estate, or other related field;
• 1-2 years of previous analyst experience in real estate, corporate finance or investment banking;
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel including experience in modeling joint ventures and waterfalls.
• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; Argus Enterprise experience a plus;
• Knowledge of DCF, NPV and cash flow models
• Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and proactive with meticulous attention to detail;
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines;
• Highly developed written and oral presentation and communication skills;
• Possesses overall intellectual curiosity regarding commercial real estate in an entrepreneurial environment; and
• Seeks challenges and self-development; demonstrates high levels of expertise and shows commitment, self-confidence and integrity.
