FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR, INSTITUTIONAL CAPITAL FORMATION

The firm was founded in 2003 and manages real estate equity investments across the risk spectrum within a variety of investment structures on behalf of U.S. and foreign institutional investors. Opportunity and Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, bright, and efficient Sales Support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will work onsite and support our Capital Formation Team by managing prospective investor research, ensuring database accuracy, performing data entry, and handling the daily review and distribution of relevant industry, competitor, and marketplace articles and reports. Additional responsibilities include management reporting and a range of administrative tasks that enable our sales team to operate more efficiently. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn about commercial property capital formation and work in a fast-paced environment supporting senior professionals. As our business and systems evolve with the marketplace, this position will adapt to meet new needs. 
 
This position is designed to offer essential support to our sales team and is not intended to transition into sales, investment, or asset management at our firm. We value efficiency, reliability, and a commitment to excellence in all tasks.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide a variety of administrative support to the sales team.
  • Use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create and manage reports and presentations.
  • Learn and leverage the firm’s systems for investor data and reporting.
  • Think creatively to solve problems and enhance processes.
  • Conduct straightforward research to gather, compile, and share information.
  • Prepare notes on investor meetings and summarize information from sales professionals’ voicemails and outreach into concise, actionable next steps.
  • Maintain and update databases with accurate information.
  • Assist the Capital Formation Team with other tasks as needed.
 
Skills and Competencies: 
  • All candidates must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited institution, with preferred degrees in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics, or related area. Must have strong academic credentials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative, often under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively and handle basic research tasks.
  • Efficient, accurate typing skills, including the ability to type from dictation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
