Job Description
- Prepare financial models for internal property valuations, dispositions, recapitalizations, lease analyses and waterfalls for joint-venture investments. Assist in preparation, review and execution of annual property budgets and business plans
- Help develop and execute asset strategy to maximize value and meet portfolio objectives
- Accompany Asset Managers on property visits and market tours, as needed
- Provide oversight and develop strong relationships with third-party property managers, leasing brokers and joint-venture partners
- Work alongside asset managers overseeing construction of ground-up development and redevelopment opportunities
- Prepare presentation materials for Investment Committee, as needed
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong academic credentials and BA or BS degree from an accredited institution, with preferred degrees in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics or related area required
- 3-5 years of real estate/finance experience, preferably including one or more of the following: portfolio analysis, commercial real estate valuation, cash flow forecasting, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, debt
- Proven analytical skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of discounted cash flow analysis in Argus Enterprise and/or Excel required
- Strong writing skills as well as verbal interpersonal/communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to function both in a team-oriented setting and independently
- Strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility and accountability
