Job Description
- Complete underwriting, market analyses, due diligence and financial analyses
- Assist in the due diligence process across all aspects of the transaction, including physical, financial, legal and operational reviews
- Prepare investment memoranda for new acquisitions as well as asset dispositions; prepare other documents required by the firm's investment committee and assist in the compilation of meeting minutes
- Develop/update valuation models, monitor investments and participate in asset management
- Conduct market research to identify potential target markets for new investment opportunities
- Develop marketing and reporting presentations, fundraising collateral, other research reports, and special projects as needed
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a high degree of attention to detail
- Demonstrated/strong modeling and presentation skills in the real estate sector
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a highly professional manner when dealing with colleagues and third parties
- Must be a highly organized self-starter that functions well in a team of multi-taskers
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and consistently meeting deadlines
- This is an in-office (Philadelphia) position, but travel may be required.
- 2 years of directly relevant real estate investment or real estate finance experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required - business, finance, economics or real estate emphasis preferred
