Job Description
- Oversee asset performance for a portfolio of multifamily properties owned by Strada and its institutional capital partners. Focus on continuously improving asset NOI and overall asset value in the marketplace.
- Work closely with third-party property managers to ensure exceptional quality of asset operations, leasing, maintenance, reporting, and capital improvement projects when appropriate.
- Prepare and execute asset-level annual business plans, including detailed asset budgets, and report regularly to internal management and to capital partners on asset status and financial performance.
- Guide asset marketing plans including branding, websites, and advertising strategies.
- Work with Strada investment team to update asset underwriting and pro forma projections on a quarterly basis
- Stay apprised of multifamily market trends and competitive properties to better inform asset strategies and market positioning for the portfolio.
- Help develop templates and standards for asset management processes and reporting.
- Advise Strada investment team on analysis of potential multifamily acquisition and disposition opportunities.
- Advise Strada development team on market positioning, programming, and design for new multifamily development projects.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7-10 years of experience in multifamily asset management, investments, and/or property management.
- Experience managing teams of consultants and service providers to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Strong quantitative skills including a thorough understanding of multifamily pro formas, key performance metrics, and asset budgets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and comfort presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Extremely high attention to detail and ability to “think like an owner.”
- Ability to manage multiple assets at varying stages while understanding priorities for execution of each asset’s business plan.
- Ability to work independently and bring in key decision makers when appropriate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
