Senior Investment & Portfolio Analyst
Hearthfire Holdings is seeking a seasoned financial professional with 5+ years of experience in private equity, real estate investment, structured finance, or private credit to play a key role in our investment and portfolio strategy.
This role requires deep financial modeling expertise, the ability to analyze debt and equity investments, and a strong understanding of private credit portfolios. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across corporate, investment, development, and capital markets strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Portfolio & Asset Management Modeling – Build and maintain advanced financial models to analyze the performance of existing investments. Conduct sensitivity analysis, debt service coverage analysis, and scenario modeling to optimize portfolio performance.
🔹 Credit Fund Modeling & Capital Structuring – Develop sophisticated private credit models, including risk-adjusted return analysis, portfolio stress testing, and loan structuring. Assess debt placement strategies, evaluate financing terms, and optimize capital stack structuring.
🔹 Acquisitions, Recapitalization, and Exit Strategy Modeling – Lead financial analysis and modeling for acquisitions, recapitalizations, and exit scenarios. Evaluate optimal capital structures, projected investor returns, and liquidity strategies.
🔹 Investment Strategy & Execution – Support deal structuring, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution across multiple asset classes. Analyze investment opportunities to determine strategic fit and financial viability.
🔹 Debt & Equity Analysis – Conduct in-depth analysis of financing options, forecast cash flows, and assess investment risks. Work closely with leadership to develop strategic capital allocation plans.
🔹 Mentorship & Leadership – Coach and mentor junior analysts in advanced modeling techniques, financial structuring, and investment decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ 5+ years of experience in private equity, real estate investment, structured finance, or private credit.
✅ Deep expertise in financial modeling, including waterfalls, IRR, MOIC, credit risk analysis, and portfolio stress testing.
✅ Proven experience in modeling acquisitions, recapitalizations, and exit strategies.
✅ Track record of working on $50M+ transactions spanning acquisitions, structured finance, and private credit investments.
✅ Experience evaluating capital strategies across corporate, investment, and development portfolios.
✅ Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring junior analysts.
