Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business opportunities exclusively within the Hoboken market.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, brokerage firms, developers, and other key stakeholders.
- Prospect and engage new clients through outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a book of business that aligns with the company's strategic growth goals.
- Secure multifamily and industrial construction projects averaging $20 million per project.
- Perform high-level bid leveling to ensure competitive and profitable project estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and deliver accurate cost estimates.
- Ensure all project proposals align with client expectations and company capabilities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company growth objectives.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and project pipelines.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings.
- Work closely with leadership to drive a seamless transition from business development to project execution.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of business development experience within the multifamily, industrial and construction industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to generate at least $30 million in new business annually.
- Skilled in bid leveling and basic construction estimation processes.
- Self-starter with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Strong knowledge of the Hoboken market and established relationships with architects, developers, and brokerage firms.
- Understanding of multifamily and industrial construction projects, including project estimation and cost management.

- Location: In-office with flexibility (Hoboken, NJ)
- Travel: Travel within the metro area as required for client meetings and events.
- Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission (1-1.5%)
- 15 days PTO annually
- Up to $500 towards healthcare coverage (Provider: BCBS)
