Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst

Overview
Our rapidly expanding real estate investment firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented acquisitions analyst to join our high-performing team in Los Angeles, Atlanta, or NYC. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership to identify, evaluate, and close new acquisition opportunities, playing a key part in executing our investment strategies.

We specialize in uncovering undervalued investment opportunities across commercial and residential property types. Backed by a leadership team with extensive experience at top-tier organizations, our vertically integrated platform is designed to maximize post-acquisition investment performance. We take pride in delivering superior risk-adjusted returns to our growing base of investors. Our thoughtful strategies and customer-focused approach have allowed us to construct a portfolio totaling nearly $1 billion in AUM to date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling for potential acquisitions in Excel and Argus, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses
  • Contribute to the creation of business plans for new acquisitions
  • Support the due diligence process, including review of leases, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal decision-making and investor communications
  • Support asset management efforts by providing occasional analysis on property performance and budgets
  • Research and analyze market trends in current and potential new markets
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program in real estate, finance, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, or investment banking
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel and Argus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a willingness to work hard and take on new challenges
