Position Overview: Catal Capital is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Financial Associate. This position requires 2-4 years of commercial real estate experience and offers an opportunity to support the company’s loan closings, underwriting, asset management, and financial analysis/reporting functions. The associate will have a customer-facing role and the ability to underwrite deals independently. Reporting to Director Alex Neubauer, the associate will work closely with Head of Real Estate, Trisha Connolly, to gain an in-depth understanding of the business.

Responsibilities:
- Perform due diligence on new investment opportunities
- Coordinate the closing process for new loans
- Manage the underwriting process for potential new investments
- Prepare Investment Committee memorandums for new investments and assist in presenting them to the firm’s Investment Committee
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Assist with investor relations activities
- Support asset management for the existing portfolio
- Contribute to marketing presentations and other investor relations functions
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of commercial real estate experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of real estate finance
- Self-starter with a strong drive to succeed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the industry
