Job Description
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned commercial / industrial properties including tenant relations, maintenance & property inspections, and expense management. The Assistant Property Manager plays an instrumental role in the property management department’s success, and they are the primary representative of ICO Group of Companies to our tenants and property vendors.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned properties including tenant relations, maintenance and property inspections, and expense management.
*Serve as company’s primary point of contact for our tenants and vendors. Including on-call for after-hours emergencies.
*Accounts receivable / accounts payable.
*Daily supervision of building engineers and janitorial staff.
*Work order management.
*Expense management.
*Tenant relations.
Qualifications & Core Competencies:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, problem solving, analytical thinking, decision making, personal credibility, and computer competency.
*Two to three + years’ experience in property management in a commercial real estate environment.
*High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
*Ability to travel between properties frequently and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
*Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and real estate accounting software applications (YARDI, etc.).
