Abacus Capital Group is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join the Abacus team based out of
our El Segundo, CA office.

Abacus is a research driven firm, which invests which invests in multifamily assets throughout the
United States on behalf of institutional investors through fully discretionary comingled funds and
separate accounts. Since its inception in 2004, Abacus has invested over 7.2B of multifamily
projects and currently has an AUM of 5.0B.

We are looking for individuals with outstanding communication and analytical skills with a
demonstrated interest in real estate investment. The role will support a broad range of asset
management functions across our platform.

Responsibilities

•  Provide analytical support to asset management/portfolio management.
•  Learn all aspects of institutional multifamily investment.
•  Assist in development and tracking of annual operating budgets.
•  Review monthly financial statements.
•  Assist Asset Managers with dispositions.
•  Assist Acquisitions/Asset Management teams with underwriting research for new deals.
•  Prepare material for quarterly investor presentations.
•  Become an expert in business intelligence and performance analytics software.

Skills/Experience

•  1-year of work experience. Prior experience in real estate, specifically multi-family 
preferred.
•  Ability to both conduct and understand market research.
•  Ability to write clear and concise communications.
•  Technically savvy: Proficient in Microsoft applications.
•  Ability to quickly learn and master property management software.
•  Familiarity with financial modeling and budgets in excel.
•  Hard worker & team player - no task too small. Getting the job done and exceeding expectations 
is the key to integrating successfully into our team.
•  Excellent time management – use time effectively and efficiently, can attend to a broad range of 
activities across many disciplines.
