POSITION:

TSB Capital Advisors is seeking an experienced Associate for its Phoenix team. The Associate will have the opportunity to interact and work directly with all team members. Key responsibilities of the position are:

Build and maintain complex financial models and pro formas using property financials, macro capital market trends, competitive market data, and legal due diligence findings.
Prepare high-quality marketing materials, including offering memorandums, to secure debt and/or equity for commercial real estate properties or projects on behalf of developers, investors, and owners.
Conduct detailed market analyses, researching and summarizing inventory, absorption, supply pipeline, rent, and vacancy trends in target submarkets.
Review and analyze complex legal documents, such as commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, easements, development agreements, and memorandums of understanding.
Conduct phone interviews with brokers, appraisers, investors, and other market participants to gather relevant market data.
Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to support client presentations and decision-making.
Collaborate directly with senior team members, enjoying high-level exposure to the firm's founder and senior partner.
Develop skills to identify new financing opportunities and actively market the firm through networking and participation in the real estate community.

REQUIREMENTS:

2-4 years of finance or commercial real estate finance experience, with emphasis on underwriting and valuation
Strong academic background
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Understanding of CRE Valuation and basic capital markets principles (NPV, income capitalization, IRR, & bond math)
Very high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Attention to detail is critical
Ability to operate both independently and in a team environment
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required
Strong work ethic
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency with real estate-focused programs including Yardi, Axio, CoStar, RCA, and RealPage
