Job Description
Title: Senior Analyst, Acquisitions
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support the underwriting and valuation of potential acquisitions
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support the underwriting and valuation of potential acquisitions
- Assist in actively sourcing and identifying potential real estate acquisition opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building
- Evaluate potential deals based on financial models, market analysis, and investment criteria to assess their viability and alignment with the company's investment strategy
- Provide market research and analysis to support investment decisions
- Proactive transaction pipeline management and reporting
- Assist in preparing analyses on transactions or other ad hoc requests from investors,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisitions, covering legal, financial, and physical aspects
- Work closely with legal, finance, asset and property management to ensure a seamless transaction and transition process from initial negotiations to closing
- Stay abreast of real estate market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks
- Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with brokers, sellers, and other industry professionals to enhance deal flow and stay informed about market dynamics
- Lead special projects as assigned and complete high-quality deliverables
- 2+ years of experience in multifamily real estate is required
- 2+ years of experience in multifamily real estate is required
- Knowledge of real estate markets, valuation techniques, and investment strategies
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
