Job Description
- Lead underwriting for diverse advisory services across all property types, including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and hospitality.
- Manage all stages of the deal process, including initial underwriting, placement, due diligence, and closing.
- Work directly with clients to gather transaction-related information and maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare and review property-driven pro forma analyses based on current and projected market conditions.
- Conduct in-depth market research and feasibility analysis for transactions.
- Develop and present financial models and analysis to internal teams, clients, and capital providers.
- Oversee the preparation of pitches, offering memorandums, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, attorneys, and third parties to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.
- 4-6+ years of experience in real estate finance or investment banking, with a focus on capital markets or advisory.
- Proven track record of managing multiple components of the deal process, including underwriting, placement, due diligence, and closing.
- Proficient in real estate financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of the capital markets and various financing structures.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to excel in client-facing roles.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet demanding deadlines.
