Description
Journey Capital Real Estate Partners LLC is seeking a Capital Formation and Investor Relations Associate who will play an active role in supporting capital formation and investor relations. This individual will assist with identifying and originating new capital relationships for the Company through a combination of existing relationships and networking efforts to develop new relationships, and will support existing and prospective investor relationships through ongoing communications. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized and a self-starter, and must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented collaborative environment. In addition, candidates should have prior experience forming and managing new relationships.  Preference given to candidates with experience in comparable roles in wealth management, private banking, financial services, advisory services, private equity and/or venture capital.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop new capital relationships for the Company that ultimately result in invested capital in various investments. 
  • Maintain and develop relationships with investors, including institutional investors, private investors, family offices and RIAs.     
  • Work with senior management team to prepare investment offering materials and assist in coordination of initial investor outreach, follow-up, and coordinating communications with potential investors.
  • Collaborate with senior management to communicate pertinent investment information.  
  • Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries regarding current investments and related reports and statements. 
  • Assist with investor onboarding process and account management.  
  • Manage investor communication portal.  

Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in industries such as wealth management, private banking, financial services, advisory services, private equity and/or venture capital.  
  • Must be adaptable, committed, and team-oriented. 
  • Existing relationships with institutional investors, private investors, family offices and/or RIAs would be beneficial.       
  • Ability to effectively communicate details of investment strategy. 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion 
  • Self-motivated, creative thinker, with great organizational and planning skills. 

Compensation: 
The annual base salary for this full-time position is $125,000 and up, which will be supplemented with a performance-based bonus.  The salary offered will vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. Other forms of pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to health benefits. A remote position will be considered for experienced candidates.
