Job Description

Shorewood Real Estate Group is a multi-strategy real estate investment platform that specializes in the acquisition, financing, and development of institutional quality assets in major gateway markets in the US.
We are currently seeking a Asset Manager with 3-7 years of experience in real estate. The Asset Manager provides full-time support to upper management of the company will be solely responsible for overseeing cash flowing assets.
Responsibilities
·         Manage a portfolio of operating/cash flowing real estate assets
·         Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting package for each asset
·         Review and analyze property monthly financials and cash flow statements
·         Read and understand JV, acquisition, and loan agreements as well as transcribing into abstracts
·         Provide leasing strategy and oversee leasing consultants. Assist with tenant improvement initiatives. 
·         Regularly communicate updates to senior management and relevant partners; as well as preparing asset management reports
·         Research and analyze pertinent market data and key economic indicators
·         Utilize financial models from underwriting team for property valuation, tracking, and reporting
·         Perform property site visits (monthly/quarterly/annual)
·         Monitor loan document covenants
·         Assist in monitoring and reviewing asset budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial targets
·         Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality in the operating assets
·         Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to ensure effective coordination
·         Foster positive relationships with partners, clients, contractors, and all other parties involved in the project
·         Address management concerns, inquiries, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related field
·         Proven experience as an Asset Manager in residential developments
·         Must have underwriting, portfolio management, and loan servicing knowledge.
·         Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
·         Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse team members and various parties
·         Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and innovative solutions.
·         Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
