Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team and lead new acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will work directly with the two founding partners to identify, underwrite, and acquire new assets. The position is integral in determining the direction and growth of the firm.
 
Responsibilities:
-        Build a pipeline through close relationships with brokers and sellers across the country
-        Underwrite potential new acquisitions, including researching and modeling transactions in existing and new markets
-        Facilitate and coordinate new acquisitions, leading all diligence efforts
-        Train, manage and grow acquisition team
-        Create business plans for new acquisitions
-        Own the entire underwriting process from start to finish, working with in-house construction, asset management, legal, property management and accounting teams and external vendors
-        Lead underwriting of capital expenditure process
-        Lead closing process (closing statement, funding amounts, accounting coordination)
-        Run pipeline meetings with the team to decide if we pursue a deal or not
-        Create investment summaries for investors
-        Assist the asset management team by answering questions on annual and monthly budgets and asset performance.
-        Perform other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program in real estate, finance, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions with experience in retail and multifamily products.
3. Proven track record of execution
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
6. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, excel, and Argus.
