Job Description

Mountain Pacific Holdings (MPH) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented asset management analyst to join our team.  The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of multi-family operations, and a passion for investment management and strategies. This role is crucial in supporting the management and optimization of MPH’s portfolio, ensuring financial performance and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze property financial statements, budgets, and performance metrics.
    • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue streams for the portfolio.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on asset performance.

    • Assist in the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
  1. Property and Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the multifamily sector.
    • Evaluate competitive properties and market conditions.
  2. Asset Management:
    • Collaborate with property management teams to optimize property operations.
    • Monitor leasing and occupancy rates, tenant mix, and rental rates.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of value-add strategies.
    • Track and report on capital expenditures and renovation projects.
  3. Portfolio Strategy and Planning:
    • Support the development and execution of portfolio management strategies.
    • Analyze and recommend improvements to asset performance.
    • Participate in portfolio reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  4. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and investors.
    • Communicate with external partners, including lenders, appraisers, and brokers.
    • Respond to inquiries from stakeholders regarding property performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in asset management, real estate finance, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Knowledge of the multifamily real estate market and property management practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with real estate management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage).
  • Understanding of real estate legal and regulatory requirements.
