Job Description:
The Multifamily Development Investment Analyst (“Analyst”) will support the Acquisitions, Entitlement and Development teams in underwriting acquisition opportunities and existing development projects. The role will require analyzing historical data, in-depth market research, and utilizing and developing sophisticated financial models. The Analyst will be based in The Picerne Group’s Newport Beach office full-time. The role and responsibilities of the Analyst will vary depending on the economic environment and the company’s strategic priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and evaluate real estate acquisitions and developments.
- Perform in-depth market research.
- Prepare presentation materials for investment opportunities for the TPG Investment Committee.
- Prepare financing packages for our construction lenders.
- Develop and maintain financial models.
- Support the Development team with managing budgets and forecasting.
- Work in collaboration with various departments (Accounting, Banking, Construction and Operations).
Required Experience and Skills:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree level education from a top-tier college with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics or another related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as an analyst at a multi-family development company.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
