Maguire Capital Group is currently seeking an Investment Analyst to add to its team in New York City.

Maguire Capital Group (“Maguire”) is a New York City-based, privately-held, middle-market, real estate debt investment fund, with a primary focus on purchasing distressed and non-performing commercial loans. Maguire utilizes its expertise and understanding of complex situations to provide liquidity to lenders who are unable to retain loans due to various factors.

Investment Analyst Role:

Responsibilities:

• Build financial models
• Study local markets
• Analyze loan documents
• Facilitate closings
• Draft investment memoranda
• Foster strong relationships with lenders, servicers, and third-party vendors to effectively manage assets and resolve issues
• Source new investments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate market dynamics and financial analysis
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to commercial real estate and debt
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• 0-4 years of experience

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, bonus, and 401(k) plan.
