Job Description

Lancewood Capital, LLC, a New York-based investment firm specializing in the origination and acquisition of commercial real estate debt throughout the United States is opening an office in Miami, FL. 

This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance and support for a team focused on underwriting of a Multi-Family, Underlying Co-Op, Mixed Use, Retail, Office, Industrial and Construction loan portfolio under approved loan policies, guidelines and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Assists the Portfolio Management Team with administration and servicing of a commercial real estate mortgage portfolio
• Orders and collects third party reports including Appraisal Reports, Environmental Reports, Credit Reports and other credit documentation and make recommendations to support the final credit decision.
• Ensures that loan all supporting credit documentation is contained in the file and appropriately analyzed to support the final credit decision.
• Assists with research and data collection to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Collects and analyzes commercial real estate income and expenses to generate income statements.
• Assists Loan Team with processing questions or concerns.
• Prepares memos and reports as required including loan summaries, pipeline reports, and other reports.
• Ensures that all credit information entered into the loan origination system is accurate.
• Reviews information for portfolio loans, recommendation of work for escrow releases, requests for extensions and or modification of loan terms.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Behaves in a manner that is consistent professional standards.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned

Starting Salary Range $55,000 to $60,000

• Four-year College Degree 
• Desire to learn about commercial real estate lending

• Good communication skills – written and oral
• Experienced with MS Excel/Word
• Highly organized
