Formed in 1992, Fifteen Group is a multidisciplinary, highly opportunistic Miami-based real estate investment company known for its entrepreneurship and outstanding investment track record. The Managing Director, Multifamily Operations will be a highly talented individual joining the firm in Miami to oversee the establishment and operation of an affiliated property management company and lead the asset management team.  Individual will report directly to ownership. This is a tremendous opportunity for a highly motivated individual with exceptional experience in property operations and investments looking to grow into a corporate leadership role.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the establishment and operation of a property management affiliate.
  • Oversee the asset management team.
  • Work closely with CFO on Risk, HR, IT, and Reporting.
  • Work closely with ownership to develop, refine, and execute the firm's operational strategies.
  • Provide organizational support to the acquisitions and finance team.
  • Manage and communicate clearly with each division and individual teams to ensure that priorities are understood by all and accomplished.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead an intelligent, ambitious, high-performance team.
 
KEY ATTRIBUTES
  • Minimum of 10 years of real estate operations and management experience, including work at the owner/sponsor level.
  • Proven leadership and oversight over the day-to-day operations of a real estate investment company.
  • Unique ability to understand and reconcile investment goals with operational realities.
  • Deep experience advancing value-add and re-development projects.
  • Inclusive style; demonstrated ability in teambuilding and the professional development of staff.
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion.
  • Detail oriented and willing to take a hands-on approach, yet also cognizant of big-picture and task objectives.
  • Outstanding communication skills; the ability and willingness to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work, thrive, and add value in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Well-rounded, stable professional with high personal values and integrity.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Periodic travel to CA will be required.
