Internship - Financial Analyst
Meridian Real Estate Partners is a California-based real estate investment company focused on the acquisition and management of multifamily buildings and apartment communities located in the Midwest and Southern United States, specifically in cities with favorable demographics, job growth and a diverse economy.

Responsibilities:
● Conduct financial analysis: Analyze financial data, assess real estate project feasibility, and create financial models.
● Perform due diligence: Verify financial statements, assess investment risks and opportunities, and coordinate with external parties.
● Assist in investment valuation: Support valuation of real estate assets using various techniques.
● Prepare financial reports: Summarize financial data, analyze performance indicators, and create
reports and presentations.
● Assist in portfolio management: Monitor investment performance, track financial metrics, and
identify value enhancement opportunities.
● Stay updated on industry trends: Research market conditions, regulatory changes, and provide
insights on industry developments.
● Assist in other special projects and assignments as they may arise.
Qualifications:
● Recently completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (Junior or Senior preferred) or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance or related field; prior real estate experience preferred
● Be able to work independently, multitask, and shift priorities in a startup environment
● Excellent quantitative, analytical, written and oral communication skills;
● Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem solving skills;
● Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure; and
● Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel (financial formulas) and Word
Additional Information:
● Schedule: 20 - 40-hour weekly commitment during 2024 Summer (i.e. mid/late May to mid/late August.) and 20+ hour weekly commitment during 2024 Fall/Winter (i.e. mid/late August - mid/late December) semester term.
