The Project Manager is the primary person on each project responsible for management, preparation and coordination of all technical and financial activities on assigned projects. Effective communication is a must for this position. He or she is the primary representative for Client and jurisdictional agency personnel, as well as for coordination of internal activities of the project. This position manages multiple projects and staff on client delivery and technical aspects of a project from start to finish, from proposal and due diligence to project completion and acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Management of planning, scheduling, coordinating, and completion of project tasks
- Management of project engineering design elements
- Overseeing project permitting efforts
- Effectively communicating with project design, ownership, and construction teams
- Managing and monitoring project progress, schedules and budgets
- Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals and management of project invoicing
- Management of client experience and satisfaction
- Overseeing the successful completion of assigned projects
Required Licensing, Education & Experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
- B.S. degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- 5 to 7+ years engineering experience in site civil / land development engineering
