About the role

The purpose of this position is to lead multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings.
What you'll do

  • 25-40%% travel to Kentucky and Indiana.
    Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Attends client meetings.
  • Coordinates repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work. Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
  • Responsible for facilities inspections and reports; 25% travel.
  • Coordinates and leads moves, adds and change activities.
  • Acquires and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Runs capital projects. Prepares capital project and operating budget and variance reports.
  • Leads vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures. Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.
  • Uses PC and PDA for CMMS, email, ESS and training.
  • Provides process and procedure training. Conducts financial/business analysis including preparation of reports.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. 2Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and resolve potential issues.Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job and department.Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive nature.Strong math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
