About the role
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will have an excellent opportunity to be mentored by and learn from top technology professionals, as well as accelerate your career in the fast-paced commercial real estate industry, with daily exposure to innovative, ground-breaking technology.
Your responsibilities will include deep analysis of data and determining the best way to represent it visually to customers. You will be part of the Data & Technology team responsible for developing and managing the data infrastructure that supports CBRE's data-driven mission.

What you'll do
- Work closely with the team to design and develop datasets, reports and dashboards that align with CBRE's data architecture and compliance guidelines.
- Develop relational tables within the reporting layer of the database, enabling efficient data retrieval for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Maintain and optimize the existing Datamart and prioritize data migration in collaboration with team members.
- Build and maintain documentation related to data sources and ETL processes.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science or similar. Candidates with equivalent combination of work experience and education may be considered.
- Completed coursework, projects, or professional experience using Python or SQL, showcasing proficiency in data manipulation and analysis.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data management practices, with a proven understanding of relational database concepts.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving.
- Superb written and verbal communication & teamwork skills.
- Ability to build reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools.

CBRE considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum hourly rate for the position is $30/hour and the maximum hourly rate for the position is $35/hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
