Job Description
Linden Property Group strives to be the premier provider of affordable and workforce housing on the East Coast. We are attempting to achieve our mission by acquiring apartment communities in need of physical or managerial improvements and executing repositionings that elevate the properties to our standards. Our success is measured by exceptional customer service to all residents and superior risk-adjusted returns to our investors. To date the company has successfully acquired, financed, and operated twenty-two communities in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. We currently own over 2,100 units in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
We are actively working to grow our portfolio of investments and would like to expand our team to aid in those initiatives. Below is a description of the position, required experience, and enhancing characteristics for qualified candidates:
Position: Senior Associate, Multifamily Asset Management
Location: 4401 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 340, Arlington, VA 22203 (DC Metro Area)
Walking distance to Orange/Silver line Ballston station
Travel/Office Attendance: Depending on asset needs and location, travel is estimated to be around 10-20% of the work schedule per month.
In office attendance is expected unless traveling for business purposes.
- Lead asset management efforts across Linden’s portfolio of Mid-Atlantic assets.
- Stabilize newly acquired communities by creating and executing property-level business plans in conjunction with the Construction Management Team.

Continue to develop the asset management team through the hiring, mentorship, and oversight of junior asset managers.

Manage working relationships with property management companies, general contractors, lenders, and joint venture partners to meet or exceed operational goals.

Analyze financial performance across the portfolio, with the goal of producing creative ideas for improving financial results and customer satisfaction.

Produce quarterly reporting on asset performance for Linden’s investors, partners, and lenders with assistance from junior asset management staff.

Assist in the analysis of new acquisition opportunities and the disposition of existing assets.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate asset management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, real estate, or another relevant field.

Deep understanding of financial analysis, construction, property underwriting, and/or debt & equity capital markets.

Enthusiasm for helping the company discover and implement best practices in the areas of operations, finance, and business plan execution.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple teams, tasks, and deadlines.

Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Must be well-composed and articulate; can represent the company well in the financial, operating, and contracting communities.
