Position Summary:

We are seeking an individual with deep experience in Commercial Real Estate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate and possess strong communication and underwriting skills. This individual will be responsible for screening and analyzing loan applications, working closely with mortgage brokers, and making informed decisions on loan origination. This person will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with mortgage brokers.

Responsibilities:

·Review and analyze loan applications for various commercial real estate projects.
·Conduct initial screening to determine whether the deal is viable and meets investment criteria.
·Assess the risk associated with each loan application and provide recommendations for loan approval or denial.
·Work closely with mortgage brokers and communicate effectively, providing clear explanations for approval or rejection decisions.
·Maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers and ensure excellent customer service.
·Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate underwriting processes.
·Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and industry best practices related to commercial real estate lending.
·Utilize Co-star software and other industry contacts to access and analyze property data. 

Qualifications: 

·Minimum of fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate which may be in brokerage, commercial banking, or a private lending background.
·Strong understanding of commercial real estate market dynamics, including different property types and lending practices.
·Ability to quickly analyze loan applications and make informed decisions.
·Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with mortgage brokers.
·Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
·Proficient in using Co-star software or similar databases for property analysis.
·Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously.
·Proven track record of success in loan origination and underwriting.

Compensation:

The base compensation for this position is $150,000-$175,000+ and incentives with the potential for discretionary bonuses based on performance.
