Opportunity
HUBBNYC is seeking a project manager to assist in all technical disciplines of our construction projects from start to finish. You will schedule, plan, forecast, and manage all activities to assure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Objectives of this role
· Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
· Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
· Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
· Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
· Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
Duties & Responsibilities
· Oversee the operation of all construction activities for our portfolio of buildings located in New York City
· Ensure effective communication between the general contractors, engineers, architects, and additional 3rd parties
· Coordinate and implement plans to ensure that the contractor and subcontractors are building the plans properly
· Review retail lease obligations and ensure that all landlord work is performed per the lease agreement and within the accepted timeframe
· Report on the project status and portfolio metrics to senior management
· Monitor project budgets, coordinate internal approvals, and approve invoices
· Coordinate and follow up on all city agency & utility filings
· Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation

Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction project management, or a related field
· 5-10 years of relevant work experience in NYC Construction
· Working knowledge of NYC DOB processes and procedures
· Strong technical understanding of structural, MEP, and architectural plans
· Work collaboratively in a team environment
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Ability to multitask and remain organized
· Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets
· Professional certification such as PMP
Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000. Pay is determined based on experience and qualifications.
