Job Summary

The Corporate Responsibility Manager will manage CBRE Cares, the company's employee volunteering and giving program, globally. This role will support CBRE's overall philanthropic efforts, including the development and expansion of programs.

What You'll Do

Lead the day-to-day management of the CBRE Cares team.

Partner with CR Director to develop and implement strategy for the global CBRE Cares program, including an employee recognition program.

Oversee global employee volunteer and giving campaigns/events.

Oversee the operations of the employee matching gift program.

Lead the implementation of a new global CBRE Cares governance structure and manage the network of volunteer leads, providing support and guidance for fundraising and volunteer events.

Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and community organizations; partner with corporate communications team to increase awareness of programs, as well as communicate impact of CBRE Cares activities.

Administer the company's volunteering and giving software platform (Benevity).

Lead volunteer and giving data collection and management; measure and report on the success of programs.

Analyze budget reports to maintains expense controls.

Facilitates regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects (project pipeline). Collaborates with core team to develop solutions and leads project team through implementation and completion.

Responsible for reporting status of individual and groups of projects and programs. Provides appropriate levels of detail, and summarizes complex issues succinctly.

Manages internal and external relationships in support of program. May contract and manage vendors.

Creates, maintains & distributes routine status reports.

May manage/oversee a team who are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs.

Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages and accomplishes work through supervisors and employees in local office and/or multiple offices. Recommends and executes on recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum five years of related experience, including at least 2 years of corporate volunteer program experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Supervisory experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have experiencing managing programs within a multi-location, or global, structure.

Certificates and/or Licenses

PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.

Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Financial Knowledge

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.

Other Skills and Abilities

Strong process skills, negotiations, decision-making and analytical skills. Proven track record in project management processes, tools and techniques.

Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

Scope of Responsibility

Decisions made with detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
