Responsibilities

Provides research and analysis support of commercial real estate markets. The role will encompass certain tasks around the collection and analysis of core data, as well as a range of activities that and support the team's production and delivery of research material.

Duties and responsibilities

Assists in the creation of both standard and specific point of sale Field Research outputs, usually under the supervision of SRA or Field Research Manager.

Liaises with brokers, Sales Management and Marketing/BD on pitches and projects.

Researches and collects market information regarding the real estate market.

Gathers data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or Associate degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

0-4 years of experience in commercial real estate or other market research role.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to tackle problems involving options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and Tableau.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Field Research Analyst position is $50,000 annually [or $24.04 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Field Research Analyst position is $60,000 annually [or $28.85 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
