Summary:

HUBBNYC seeks a full-time Assistant Property Manager. The APM will report directly to the Director of Property Management and is responsible for property and tenant oversight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate and work with the Property Manager
  • Establishing and maintaining files and records, reports and systems needed to effectively manage the properties according to policies and procedures established by the company.
  • Handling resident complaints.
  • Communicate work orders to the Maintenance team as required
  • Verify work orders are completed to satisfaction
  • Coordinate and complete move-in and move-out inspections
  • Inspecting vacant units for market readiness prior to move
  • Manage property violations
  • Preparing all reports and surveys as required by the company or as requested.
  • Walking the properties to inspect for cleanliness and compliance issues
  • Responding to tenant emergencies as they come up regardless of time or day
  • Directing and communicating with Vendors and our internal handymen as needed to complete work orders
  • Performing building-wide inspections from the basement and boiler rooms to the rooftops and elevator rooms

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager.
  • 2+ years as an Assistant Property Manager
  • Must have a good history of dependability and job performance.
  • Prefer to have worked with Yardi, and the Microsoft Office suite is a plus
  • Must have the skills essential for dealing with emergencies without direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of NYC building code a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must
  • Applicant should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

 

Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000. Pay is based on experience.
