Compensation $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus.
Location GreenLake’s office in South Pasadena, CA

GreenLake Asset Management LLC (www.greenlakefund.com) is an investment manager founded in 2008 and registered with the SEC. GreenLake manages three open-ended, alternative asset funds dedicated to special situation real estate bridge loans, lending nationwide. The portfolio spans most commercial real estate asset classes and aims to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors while protecting against downside risk. GreenLake seeks to enhance the value of the portfolio through proven asset management and operational expertise. Loan sizes range from $5 million to $50 million on commercial real property and continues to grow with time.
Analyst Overview:
The Analyst will be an active member of the servicing teams with a primary focus on two areas:
- Loan Analysis: Track and evaluate GreenLake’s portfolio of loans and real estate holdings monthly.
- Collection of financial information, reports and other source materials including comps, appraisals, market data, projections, personal financial statements, tax returns, bank accounts, etc. All data and financial information will be organized, analyzed, and packaged for presentation to internal constituents to support ongoing monitoring as well as key strategic decisions.
- Market Research: Research public and private information, current market trends and current competitive sets to provide evaluation to the internal team.
Work product will include spreadsheet models, reports and summaries.
Responsibilities:
- Review the financial performance of property operating results, financial assumptions, other pertinent information, and maintain KPIs on portfolio loans and investments.
- Evaluate and/ or create financial projections.
- Perform ongoing market research on financing trends, market conditions and competitor offerings.
- Prepare internal and external documents and presentation materials.
- Review and extract information from third-party research sources.
- Complete accurate and thorough worksheets, reports, briefs, and proposals.
- Perform financial modeling to support decision-making regarding the viability of business plans.
- Additional projects and tasks as requested.
Skills:
- A strong interest in real estate
- 2 years of experience in a similar position, such as a real estate finance analysis or accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as accounting, business, finance, real estate, economics, or math
- Strong skills in financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Interest in learning about a wide range of real estate asset classes
- Ability to understand financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, financial ratios, etc. and apply these to individual loans.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive individual with strong work ethic and great professional attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior attention to detail

This position is a full-time, exempt position in person, in GreenLake’s South Pasadena, California office. Base salary commensurate with experience, plus discretionary annual bonus. Health and dental benefits paid by the company, 401k and paid time off.
