Asset Management Associate, Industry City

Job Description

The Associate position in Asset Management at Industry City is responsible for supporting Asset Management in maximizing real estate value by developing and executing business plans on assigned real estate projects and providing institutional-quality reporting to assist in strategic decision-making across the organization.

This role will work in a fast paced and demanding environment.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and an independent thinker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior management and the development group to evaluate the financial feasibility of capital improvement projects and new lines of business.
• Underwrite and provide credit analysis for lease transactions.
• Maintain, refresh, and reforecast internal ARGUS cash flow projections.
• Produce institutional-quality reporting of financial analytics at the property level.
• Support the production of both the annual business plan and budget.
• Update and manage Asset Management reports, including, but not limited to: Cash Flow Analysis, Physical/Economic Net Absorption
• Assist in capital markets initiatives; including managing relationship and communication with lender.

Experience and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience for an institutional quality Real Estate investor, lending institution, or Real Estate Investment Trust.
• Ability to generate complex reports and synthesize large data sets in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of how to leverage VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), PMT, XIRR, and XNPV functions in Excel in order to optimize efficiency of reporting.
• Argus Enterprise experience required; Certification preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with various departments.
• Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and operate autonomously.
• Highly-organized, motivated, and able to multi-task effectively in a deadline driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
