POSITION SUMMARY:

The Commercial Real Estate Recruiter will contribute to Stream Realty’s success by securing talent for Stream’s Property Management roles in the Atlanta market.  The position will be responsible for executing the talent strategies with campus recruiting and entry-level new hires, and facilitate Stream’s Human Resources team with development of onboarding and employee retention strategies.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and execute the talent acquisition strategy for entry-level & mid-level property management positions within Stream’s Atlanta market with the goal of building a robust, viable talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with market leaders in determining targeted universities and community colleges for campus recruiting.
  • Lead Fall & Spring campus recruiting events targeting candidates interested in commercial real estate property management:
    • Coordinate registration and logistics for campus recruiting events/career fairs and information sessions at targeted universities including Stream representative participation.
    • Publicize job openings to reach a broad and diverse applicant pool (job postings, student organizations, internal referral program, websites, etc.).
    • Collaborate with Marketing dept. to develop and manage marketing materials.
    • Generate fresh ideas for promotional items around campus recruiting efforts.
  • Conduct full cycle recruiting activities:
    • Track and review student resumes and identify candidates for interviews.
    • Conduct informational interviews and phone screens. Present qualified candidate resumes/applications to hiring managers. 
    • Schedule hiring manager interviews with candidates, gather interview feedback, and prepare summary of interview evaluations.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers through the candidate employment offer and negotiation process.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience by welcoming candidates, overseeing interviews, and providing prompt feedback and/or decisions to candidates.
  • Develop relationships and partner with real estate student organizations at local universities to raise awareness of commercial real estate and employment options. Participate with organizations by initiating guest speakers, building tours, job shadowing, etc.
  • Participate in local commercial real estate professional associations (IREM, BOMA, Project REAP, etc.) with the goals of promoting the firm and developing relationships. 
  • Manage social media efforts to build company presence and advertise market job openings.
  • Utilize and update the internal applicant tracking system through all stages of the recruiting and hiring process:  job posting, screening, interviewing, extending offers, closing job requisitions, etc.
  • Assist with onboarding and integration process of new hires.
  • Participate in office meetings; Deliver recruiting updates.
  • Develop creative employee morale and retention strategies which contribute to long term Stream tenure.
  • Work with PM hiring managers on tools and communication which relay career growth trajectory.
  • Collaborate with Stream’s Human Resources and National Recruitment teams when necessary and if recruitment assistance is necessary for cross-over recruitment jobs.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: check candidate references, administer assessments, other tasks or projects as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-5 years of either campus or full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the property management or real estate disciplines.
  • Self-starter; ability to remain self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Excellent phone presence with polished verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • High sense of urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience working in an ATS and with MS Office products.
  • Team player, but can also work independently.
