Job Title: Chief Investment Officer
Reports to: Director, Finance
Department: Real Estate US
Location: Miami, FL. We are looking for prospects to reside in South Florida and report to the office regularly.
Summary: Iconic Equities and Leste Group are currently seeking a Chief Investment Officer for its Industrial Outdoor Storage programmatic venture, which is institutionally capitalized. This program encompasses the acquisition and development of trailer storage sites, truck terminals, container storage and other low coverage uses across the Top 20 logistics markets. The current program target is approximately $300m+ in total capitalization but is anticipated to exceed that.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Full execution of investments including sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing new investments.
- Provide oversight to Directors of Acquisitions in their deal pursuits.
- Develop investment theses and deep dives on specific market opportunities or technology areas within the logistics real estate sector.
- Provide oversight of due diligence, financial modeling, and investment memo creation.
- Spearhead tenant relationships.
- Interact with our capital partners’ regarding generating deal flow and execution of deals.
- Cultivate and manage LP investor relationships to assist with fundraising and portfolio growth.

Education/Experience:
- Seven or more years’ experience in the industrial real estate sector. Experience in low coverage and Industrial Outdoor Storage facilities is a major plus.
- Proven track record of executing real estate acquisition and development deals from sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, closing and driving value creation measures with teams.
- Strong network within the logistics space across the country. Experience within the logistics private equity and venture capital space is a plus.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated business and investment judgment.
- Superb diligence, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead high performing deal staff.
- Proven leadership with high integrity and conscientiousness.
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred but not required.
- Passion for the real estate industry with exposure to technology and/or real estate companies a plus.
Software:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess expert‐level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Green Street Advisors, Axiometrics, CoStar. As well as ability to manage additional software such as: PipeLine or other customer resource management softwares, Microsoft SharePoint / OneDrive, Argus.
