Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in lease administration
  • Experience in people management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a large global lease administration program
  • Experience influencing stakeholders through leveraging relationships, expertise, and data.
  • Experience in Vendor Management, including agreement negotiation and effective performance management
  • Knowledge of the new lease accounting standards (ASC 842 and IFRS 16) and accounting implications of lease obligations and possession dates
  • Excellent relationship management, facilitation, and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to explain challenging issues and complex concepts at all organizational levels
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and lead teams

About the job

In this role, you will lead a team and global program that is responsible for the management of our leases and real estate purchase agreements globally. You will lead the overall vision and strategy of the program and build relationships with cross-functional partners around the world, including regional Portfolio and Facilities teams, real estate transaction management, accounting, finance, and legal to align on real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead oversight of the global portfolio administration program (i.e., global rent payment, review critical dates, ensure accurate data and reporting, and business owner of the program’s systems and tools)
  • Lead a team and own the strategic roadmap and vision of the program
  • Manage vendor relationships, overall budget, and oversee resource management 
  • Lead multiple operational and strategic initiatives, working cross-functionally with global teams
  • Communicate, influence without authority, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels
